So I got sick last Monday thanks to the rain and our driver. lol
Yesterday, my dad went to the doctor to have his eye examined and my mom told me to come with them for a check-up. I brought my cousin with me so I have someone to tag along for coffee. haha.
So after my check-up, me and my cousin went to my favorite starbucks shop to check if "CP" was there. haha. We didn't make tambay for a long time coz my parents might call me anytime. And as expected, "CP" wasn't there. haha. hmmm... Is my theory about my cousin correct? haha. Just kidding.
So after like 30mins, we went back to the other mall to meet my parents. We stopped by Cyber Zone first to do some window shopping and drool a little. haha.
I called mommy and I told her to meet us at Italiani's but we'll stop by starbucks megastrip first. So me and my cousin walked out the strip and entered the shop.
Here's the fun part. hahahaha
I had a plan to make my order longer and see if the baristas there could get it right. haha. But I decided not to so I ordered my usual drink (Hot Venti Sugar-Free Vanilla Non Fat Caramel Macchiato).
So I was like...
Me: I'll have one hot venti sugar-free vanilla non fat caramel macchiato.
Boy Barista: Ok.
After a few seconds...
Boy Barista: Venti?
Me: Yes
Boy Barista: Sugar-Free?
Me: Yes
Boy Barista: Hot?
Me. (ugh) Yes... (with a smile)
Boy Barista: Can I get your name for the cup?
Me: *bleep bleep*
Hahaha. I thought that he got my order right at once coz he just said "ok" after telling him what I want.
Then I whispered to my cousin..
Me: Mukang nahirapan ata siya.
Cousin: Muka nga.
Me: Hahahaha. First time?
Cousin: *laughing*
Then my order was called at the pick-up counter by the girl barista. My drink was right! Yay! So she asked for my receipt.
Girl Barista: Saan po yung may add syrup?
Me: Ha?
Girl Barista: Yung yung vanilla ba po yun din pero sugar-free lang?
Me: Yes
Girl Barista: Ok. Wait lang po.
She called the Boy Barista and informed him that there was a mistake with my order. I don't usually check my receipt so I didn't notice that he added a syrup.
After a while, she came back and handed me my P20 back for the "add syrup".
Lol.
Omg. Where did they got that Boy Barista from?
While walking back to the mall, I was still laughing from what happened at the starbucks shop. I thought that the baristas were trained for taking long and customized order. Good thing I didn't order my original Quad Ristretto Hot Venti Sugar-Free Vanilla Non Fat Caramel Macchiato coz it might cause a havoc. lol
Sayang, cute pa naman siya. hahaha

Me? A Teacher?
I'm afraid that the answer is YES.
I'm 80% sure that I will be teaching this next school year (2008-2009). I still haven't talked to my dad regarding this again but I think that my parents are serious.
They are letting me teach the Computer subject for grades 4-6 and 1st-4th year High School. You see, the previous teacher resigned because of god-knows-what so my parents chose me to replace him.
I asked them if it's ok for me to teach because I don't have a degree in education but they told me that it's fine. The old teacher only has a diploma for a 2 year Computer Technician course and I have a 4 year BS Degree in Computer. Well I'm sorry for the comparison and if I sound "mayabang" but he really don't impress me much with his way of teaching. Hehe. I admit that when I have problems with my PC before, I ask him for help. But beyond those hardware stuffs, he doesn't really know anything.
I remember before that he likes to install softwares and whatnot in my mom and dad's pc. Then later on, my parents will ask my why their computers were acting strange. gosh. But I have to give him credit though. He fixed our LAN/Wifi at home. Oopps, I'll take that back. His friend fixed the Wifi, not him. lol
Anyways, I don't have any real experience in teaching. I have no problems performing in a live audience but I don't know if it'll be the same with teaching students. yikes. Elementary and High School students? hmmm... How will I handle their weird attitudes?
I want to be a good teacher and I like my students to learn. But I don't want to be, as much as possible, strict. I know that I can be "mataray" but I don't want it to be the reason for my students to study and learn. I want them to enjoy my subject, and not just do their assignments because they are scared of me. I've experienced that before as a student and I don't want my students to experience the same.
Well this will be a very big challenge for me. Teaching is not a joke. Whatever comes out from my mouth will change the minds my students. I know that I'm not perfect but I will try my best to share the knowledge that I have to others.
My dad asked my to create a curriculum/lesson plan a couple of days ago. I don't know if he's really serious. But if he is, I have to get started.

Pregnant?
I think I am. haha
JK.
You see, my violin and all my gadgets are my babies. So no, I'm not like the pregnant man on the news. haha.
So when I say I'm pregnant, it means that I'm in love with a gadget. haha. I think I'm carrying a baby MBP. haha. I won't reveal what "MBP" stands for cause I might jinx it. lol
Well I still have to wait a month to find out if I'm really pregnant.
Mommy!!!
